Vygotsky's Theory
This is a video demonstrating Vygotsky's theory of cognitive development through social interaction and children being guided by a teacher or adult. Charlie's mom guides him in picking out the colored toys and counting them and eventually Charlie begins to do it on his own. This really put the theory in perspective for me. It's easier to see what Vygotsky means by guiding children to the answer.

Piaget's Stages of Development
This is a video of Piaget's Stages of Development, I found this video really helpful in understanding what happens exactly at each stage.

Vaccines
Here is a link to a vine that I found about vaccines:
Vaccines
"Since 2000, 7 vaccines (Meningitis A, Haemophilus, Yellow Fever, Pneumococcal, Rotavirus, Hepatitus B, Measles) have saved more than 6 million lives"
I chose to share this vine because in class we discussed the debate over whether or not vaccines are necessary or not (ultimately it is your choice to vaccinate or not). Also, I'm glad that our social media apps can teach us important information like this in a quick, easy manner.
