From Abby

After reviewing this article I have to say that I do not agree with they way they are testing. I think putting to much pressure on children is so wrong. I feel like they work so hard at a young age and sometimes it can be hard to be a normal kid when your parents and teachers are pushing knowledge down your throats or testing them every day or so. It could potentially be harder for them to learn that way.

I thought it was interesting how when the mothers left the room, the children would forget all about the toys and interesting things. They would cry until their mothers came back. And when they did come back, the children acted in different ways which I though was very strange. Some didn’t want to continue playing and some went right along after the mother returned.

From Tina:
This first post is about couples coping with infertility. I know we talked about this in class a while ago, but this topic is always relevant. There's always new information arising on the issue and new methods on how to cope.

The second post is about a school who had an "Anti-Gay Day" after students in the Gay-Straight Alliance Club had a day of silence. The day of silence was to push for anti-bullying of those in the LGBTQ community. The fact that these students felt so led to create a day made for being anti gay is ridiculous. It just shows how hateful and cruel some teens can be now-a-days.
