It's crazy to me that Jacob could know so early on that he wanted to be identified at a boy, but I believe that he was very "persistent and consistent" in how he wanted to be known. I commend Jacob's parents for allowing him to transition into a new identity that allows him to be more comfortable and confident in himself.
Wow, this is article is so fascinating! I've heard of many teenagers going through this change but never someone so young. Like Katie said, I think it's incredible that his parents are so chill with the situation and let him go through with such a transition. Seems like a neat kid who I desperately want to meet.
