Attachment Styles

The first video is an example of the Strange Situation and it shows the different attachment style and how an infant would react for each attachment style. I found this video to be helpful in giving a better understanding of the different attachment styles.

The second video shows how the different attachment styles formed as a child can affect romantic relationships later on in life, which I found to be really interesting.

  1. This site describes and details the social and emotional development stages and milestones during childhood and why they are important. I found this to be interesting because it details how development in the early years helps to determine the type of adult one will become.

  2. These videos simulate what sensory overload may feel like to a person who is on the Autism spectrum and how they may feel when this happens. I found this helpful to help understand how someone with Autism may feel.
